Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In the absense of Sodacat who is presumably mid-prep.. I'll propose his rules from 2020 for this year's event with some bonuses:

"Yes folks it's back and likely to be even more fiercely contested this year than ever. Some people thought that the scoring last year was a bit convoluted so the format has changed.

Each round you pick three games,,,,,,,,you get 2 pts for any of those games that are drawn and 5 points for each that results in a win for the lower rated player. You get nothing for any of the games that the higher rated player wins. So you aren't actually naming the results, just picking the games that you think could surprise. Maximum score per round is 15 pts.

I want to see a good clean contest,no gouging, kicking or head butting, no petrol bombing of houses, no poisonous snakes in the letterbox or ringing people at 3 a.m to deprive them of sleep all of which we saw in last years competition."

We can add 15 points for naming the winner correctly (no joint winners - so no points for anyone who loses a tiebreak) - you can name who'll finish in next few places to show off but no points for that. 10 points for best U2100 by points scored - joint winners count there.

Please count your score and include in your prediction each day. We can also count predictions for round 1 and winners made in the other thread - but this thread thereafter.
