In a situation, could I get help from a forestry professional?

So I spent just under a thousand euro on firewood stock for the winter. I paid for oak but I don't think that is what I got. I'm guessing it's ash or birch. Would there be somebody somewhere I could get to positively identify the wood and what would their job title be?

Put up a few pics, showing the bark and end grain if possible.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
