Build a Larsen Bird Trap

I built a couple of timber framed traps last year and they are quite heavy..... few of the lads made traps top entry traps using weld mesh and they really are the job.

Afaik they just came up with the measurements themselves.

It is. You'd be better off either using wood and chicken wire, or buy a mesh trap. Was a lad on Facebook selling side entry ones, made from mesh, but don't think he's selling them any more. You might find one for sale on Donedeal or Adverts.

I think an eight by four sheet of twelve gauge galvanised mesh is around sixty euro. Then clips and clip tool probably around thirty euro.. It can add up.
