As opposed to price of a stock in a company where there are earnings reports, cash flow, or assets associated with stock/company, or a fiat currency used in a country with a strong economy for example, Bitcoin's price is mostly due to speculation. This is why historical trading data is hugely important here.

What the people you are listening to are hopefully talking about is "Support and Resistance", people who bought in at 20k years ago would be seen in a regular market as a significant pool of people who think Bitcoin has a 20k value and will buy more once the price drops to that point. When the price hits this point you might see a 'bounce' off this support as these buyers reactivate their purchasing bots/orders/etc. People will talk about a test of this support when this happens. Sometimes prices will bounce multiple times before rising if support is seen as strong, or falling further if support is weak. Or it could drop significantly triggering a cascade of stop-loss orders driving passed the support to the next lowest level of support. You need to look at the volume of trades historically around this price mark to see if you think enough people who bought in at that price would still be holding and haven't sold off their stock already. Whether or not that support is there is for you to decide, don't take mine or anyone else's word for it and don't invest anything you can't afford to lose.

Nobody knows for sure where the price is going, be wary of anyone claiming otherwise.
