I got my new bonds today BAW810xxx and BAW812xxx. Still the same design, and still with the "Coming Soon" enclosure.

There is no change to the Repayment form online. It has V22062022 which I take to be 22 June version. The application form is a version from 24 May 2022. There are other forms from 11 October 2021.

If you are registered for an online State Savings Account there is an option to “Reinvest/Cash in” on the prize bond summary page. It’s been there for some time. The “Cash In” option offers “Repayment to your bank account” I haven’t used this so I am unsure whether or not you are required to send off the Prize Bond certs as part of the process and typical of the idiots in State Savings they don't set out the requirements for using the online Cash In process anywhere - you just have to dive in and figure it out as you go along. It might be worth looking into however, especially if it avoids having to complete those moronic forms. It’s also not clear whether or not this option is available for Joint Holdings, I suspect that it isn’t.

after three or four emails trying to ascertain what was going on, I received one saying that the 'non-return of prize bonds' is not yet operational....

I wonder wast it genuinely essential maintenance that has gone horribly wrong, or was it a technical cock-up from the outset but they wouldn’t admit it. Either way it installs zero confidence in their ability to properly manage and administer prize bonds, especially in light of the half-baked half-paperless future they appear to be envisaging for Prize Bonds.

There is a new link on the website about the redesign of the bond certificate from September. The repayment form link included is still the same as before, but I think the checklist of items at the end has been updated.
