    Some excellent first round games there.

    I think the tournament is wide open this year. None of the big name players are in good form with the possible exception of MvG. Price, Wright and Clayton have looked poor in recent times.

    Luke Humphries would have been my pick before the draw was made but his quarter is extremely tough!

    Dirk started like an express train but they faded and MS had loads of chances to put him under serious pressure but never did.


    I can’t believe he’s not already seeing a sports psychologist, it’s an absolute no brainier.


    Arrogance on his part if he’s not at this stage

    Lewis is done. He’s completely shot and there’s no coming back. He shows glimpses but no consistency and the fluidity of his throw is not what it was

    I think the booing is way overstated. FFS deal with it. English fans are supporting English players, shocker!

    Dimi is a strange dude, cannot warm to him at all, his interviews are beyond painful. I really hope DVD or Noppert wins this tournament, preferably Noppert, very likeable guy with a nice throw.

    I fear MvG will.

    Felt sorry for Jose there, thought he done well to battle back from that 3 leg deficit after the third session.


    Tournament has to be one of the highest quality majors i've watched in a while.
