    Hi

I'm on the look out for a road bike for my nephew.

    Max budget around 350

    Size 55 or 56

Doesn't have to be too modern but should be in decent shape.

    Anyone got something like that?

    Thanks.

I have this, had used it as a winter bike for a couple of years since I started cycling again.. It’s 54 though (I’m 5’ 10”).

has the old thumb flick shifters, campag scirocco wheels, selle Italia saddle (not in the photo) and new bar tape. €250ish if it’s any good to you? Pedals would be black shimano spd as opposed to the red look pedals in the photo.

a couple more photos for anyone interested. I was wrong about that bar tape, that was another bike so it could do with replacing. Aluminium frame, carbon fork. I found a set of look cleats so if anyone is taking the bike they can decide which they want. Let me know if your nephew is interested op. Based in south east but travel a bit with work towards cork and Dublin.

    Thanks, that looks good Gavlor.

Nephew would def be interested. I take it it fits you fine at 5'10" ? He's same more or less.

He's not arriving to Dublin till end August. What's likelihood you making it to Dublin at end August/start Sept?

There’s a good chance that I’ll be around the ballsbridge area towards the end of august.
