50/55 inch TV

Its a pity you are not too keen on the Philips operating system as their 50PUS7906 would tick all the other boxes priced at 469 Euro

And the 55" version is even better priced at 479 Euro

You could perhaps check out the LG 50UQ75006 priced at 449 Euro

55" version the 55UQ75006 priced at 529 Euro

Next up by LG is the 50UQ80006 priced at 469 Euro

Moving into the LG Nano cell there is the 55NANO766 priced at 789 Euro

Also still left from the 2020/21 range is the LG 55UP81006 priced at 499 Euro

If you jump into the Philips OLED range then they use an Android operating system and to be honest the 55OLED806 priced at 1099 Euro is an amazing TV. Very well reviewed and the 48" version was product of the year in What HiFi.

Also the 706 priced at 949 Euro

Sony also have a few worth checking out the 50X81 priced at 599 Euro

Or the 55" Version the 55X81 priced at 649 Euro

Also the 55X89 priced at 719 Euro

There is currently a further 10% deal running on the 2022 Sony 55X85 priced at 1199 Euro then using code "RSTV10€" drops it by 10% to 1080 Euro

Samsung's NEW OLED is now available the 55S95 priced at 2049 Euro. This also has the 10% using code "RSTV10€" dropping it down to 1844.10 Euro

The only question I have is about "Good quality sound with ability to in/out using digital sound interface(s)" I can't think of any TV that have Digital Audio inputs?

Sound is usually always carried to the TV by HDMI from a source. The odd time you still might get Red and White audio inputs but this again is very rare.

You can then use HDMI ARC or Digital Optical for Audio out.

The PUS7906 actually uses the Android operating system and also will only have Saorview, it doesn't support Freesat.

Thanks for getting back to me! The TV has a satellite input but not a Freesat approved tuner. It'll pick up the channels but they won't be in order and there will be no EPG or programme information available.
