Xgimi projector

Hi I’m interested in the Xgimi projectors and am looking at Elfin and Horizon. Can’t stretch to the Horizon Pro. Projector will be moved from indoor living room setup to outdoors. Portability is important and ease of moving it which is why I’m leaning towards the Xgimi ones. The auto keystone looks great. Any advice and what would be your best price for delivery to Dublin. The Xgimi projectors are fantastic, I have an Elfin on display and the auto keystoning feature is amazing. It looks great as well, even for a 1080p projector.

If you're looking to set it up outdoors as well though I think the Horizon would be the better option as it can be projected onto a larger screen size and also outputs at a much higher brightness level. This is a special order product though so I would need to get one in direct from the supplier which can take a few weeks.

The current price is £949 and delivery would be £6.99.

I have an XGIMI HALO and can't recommend it enough. Fantastic picture and great sound. I also have a screen from XGIMI.

3 friends have bought the same one after seeing ours. There was a quality issue related to an update but were sent new ones after a bit of back and forth.

Only downside is that Netflix can't run on it as it doesn't have the proper certification. We get by this by using a dongle.

Thanks for the feedback. What sort of conditions do you use it in? I’ll be moving from a room I can completely black out to outdoor movies which are currently limited to full dark with the crap projector I have. Be nice to start closer to twilight but I’m not sure that’s possible even with the brighter horizon.

Yes twilight is fine with this as the picture is bright. It's 800 ANSI Lumen.

I see from your post that you want a high lumen projector as he will play movies outdoors and it would be nice to run Netflix, I am glad I know of a projector like this and I am happy to recommend the Dangbei Mars Pro to you, we have had many friends buy this machine and the point is that he is sold by a supplier that Greg recommends for a guarantee! Nothing But Label, who are also the exclusive Australian distributor for fengmi, I've seen their product videos and the great, super professional, large outdoor screen that works so well with the projector, much better than an LCD TV! the budget won’t stretch to the Horizon but I’m interested in other options at a similar price point to the elfin. From a bit more research I think I’m better off maxing the brightness. The smart features from Xgimi are nice but the two positions I might use this are fixed. I also have a fire stick and Bluetooth speakers outside and a full 5.1 setup inside so don’t need speakers built in. What would you recommend?

There really isn't too many other projectors around the same price point as the Elfin unfortunately.
