I'm very tempted to sell TAA, when you compare his price v Chelesa/City is he worth the money - similar argument every year, but with pool playing a 3/4th choice CB is the appeal really there - they play such a high line that all you need is one good ball and the opposition is in, there was a warning sign minutes earlier when Eze was just offside.

To be fair you don't buy the likes of TAA or Cancelo for clean sheets only.

You don't buy them for clean sheets at all.

Cancelo already proved being worth more than other City defenders like Walker, TAA will do too, just this game somehow it didn't work yet.

But he could have 2 assists or a goal by now.

They won't be playing a 3rd/4th choice CB every week. He's a guaranteed 200 points if he stays fit, apart from Cancelo what other City/Chelsea defender will get that. He's leading the bonus in this despite having conceded. Depends what you do with the extra cash I guess.

TAA CS is gone but he is still on for max bonus currently. He is a bonus magnet with all the chances he creates.

That said, the double Liverpool defence is very bad right now. I think it could be TAA only really in terms of Liverpool defence. As he is a constant attacking threat.

Matip is injured and talk that could be a few weeks - lets say he misses 3/4 games, pool then have City, Arsenal and Chelsea two of which are away from home. Who knows how many CS they will get over the next 9 games. You compare those 9 games against say City or Chelsea's fixtures, you could have James and Cucu/Walker for 11m, it's going to cost you 11.5m min to have TAA and any other defender.

He's gotten 200+ points in two of the last 4 season, so it's not a guaranteed 200 points. He goal return isn't that great in comparison to say James. If James plays the same minutes as TAA, I reckon he would beat him, or be close enough to say the extra 1.5m that TAA costs isn't worth it.

Compare VVD to TAA, VVD has more goals than TAA over last number of seasons, so your paying a premium for assists - now is he worth the money? Sure he'll have games where he get 18 points and everyone will say that's why you have TAA.

Fair points. Problem with James is he'll likely never play the same amount of minutes due to rotation and being injury prone. When the player is getting 12+ assists a season and the bonus that comes with them, I do probably think it's worth paying the premium.

82 last week and 83 this week. Nice and consistent. If I can continue to get 80+ points a week, I might do alright this season :D At about 12,000 OR which is crazy. Doing way better than I expected

A half decent 74 in GW1 followed by a distinctly meh 54 in GW2 and OR of 2m.

Not panicking yet but had a similar start last year and couldn't get going at all after it :-(

Actually fairly happy with my team but not having James and Cancelo is killing me. Son not performing is also an issue

Cancelo and James are killing me (that was an OG!). Going Cash and Mount instead hasn’t worked at all.
