2022 car, nothing wrong with it. Just want to change the oil. No need for any sort of checks or anything else.

Cheapest would be for you to do it yourself.

Just need an oil extractor pump. Think of this as an investment for the future interim oil changes you will be doing. No need to get underneath the car.

Just make sure the car has a dipstick. It's needed for this to work.

Dacia don't change the oil until 30,000km or two years. I'd like to change it sooner.

For the first service they literally just change the cabin filter.

Was looking at those gadgets, but I've nowhere to store that. I live in an apartment block. No shed or anything. Would probably DIY if I had my own garden and shed.

I do as well. It resides in a corner of my balcony or in the boot of the car or the hot press space.

There are smaller electric versions as well, but I prefer this type.

Have used a Sealey version of this for years.

Extract, pour into empty oil canister and straight to recycling center.

You might also need to reset the oil light (or dashboard warning or oil change counter etc in the car's computer). You can get a cheap OBD2 diagnostic scanner for your car which you just plug in and you can reset some bits and pieces like that. You can even get ones that connect your phone. Shouldn't need to spend more than twenty euro on one.

Don't go resetting service lights on a brand new car.

If a warranty issue occurs, the onus is then on the owner to prove that the car was serviced exactly in accordance with the manufacturers specifications - which is nigh on impossible to do.

Yes. In this case it's best to leave the service indicator as is.

Just keep a copy of the receipt for the oil and filter and add in the date and mileage it was changed at.

Also, if using a third party then ask them not to reset any service indicators.
