I'm starting to think that our defence is a bigger problem than our midfield. Trent, Robbo and VVD have had an awful start to the season and are particularly woeful tonight!!

He closed Sancho, held him up, forced him into a dummy and still the gap between Sancho and VVD wasn't closed.

We keep stepping up at the back and they are going for the earlier than expected pass, which is catching us out time and time again.

We needed invest in a top midfielder last summer, we needed another this summer....unlucky with injuries though most of those out are regularly out. Even with all the injuries we are only missing 3 players in Matip/Konate, Jota/Diaz & Thiago.

The other teams have strengthened and we are weaker without Mane.

Top 4 will be a tough one as Arsenal & Spurs are a lot stronger though thankfully it is only 1 game a week.

Utd are still rubbish regardless of the result tonight.
