Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spent Convictions UK

In the UK, spent convictions such as a breach of the beach will not show up on a basic criminal record check but will show up on a standard/enhanced criminal record check. Why are such convictions considered spent then? If you don't have to declare spent convictions and they still show up, why are they called that then? Is it to make people look like liars as well as convicts?

I can understand why a spent rape conviction would show up on a dbs check but a breach of the peace? That is ridiculous!
