Duffy suddenly comes to life when the non-landlord is putting his point over

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

I personally have no issue with him having 10/11 properties. As you say others probably do...but there were so many issues...

Didn't register a property with RTB (it was his job he knew it had to be done)

He lobbied for more money for schemes he directly benefited from....

The handy double your money on a house sold in 3 months to the council. He pulled a fast one not putting that in his SIPO declaration he was being a cute hoor.

No fire cert/planning permission seemingly for a property

Questions over other undeclared interests in an auctioneers now...

That is just some examples, he had more than that. It piles up.

I am in favour of rents being reduced in certain areas - what some are charging for basic houses is crazy.

    BUT

Tenants need to get it into their head that if they rent their future is always going to be uncertain. It is not the landlords responsibility to keep people housed for life. Landlords should be free to evict and sell given reasonable notice. It is now at the stage that landlords have very little rights - no wonder landlords are leaving.

Social/LA housing should never have been sold off wholesale.

    I mean, that's a given.
