Finished season 1 of Manifest - not sure I want to continue. Good story and idea, but a few glaring plot holes and unrealistic character reactions. Anyone know if seasons 2 and 3 get better or should I just read the plot outlines on wikipedia?

Watched I came by last night - thought it was decent. Kelly McDonald was great.

also watched Devil in Ohio & enjoyed that too. Bit of a slow burn but well acted

Thought it was mildly average/OK-ish in a 6/10 way (which is probably good by Netflix standards), and while carried out in an almost quite perfunctory manner with nothing that hasn't been seen before, it at least spun a couple of the usual conceits with these stories in an unexpected manner.

More than a few contrivences which exist only to signal points in the plot, but nothing that trips the story up too much.

Not the worst couple hours, but more of a walk, don't run recommendation for me. I enjoyed the director's prior Under the Shadow from a few year back, and while nowhere near that, it's certainly an improvement on his last effort, Wounds.

Watched Love in the Villa last Friday - with the Wife last Friday, with a load of wine onboard - and as such it was perfect, as it's a nonsensical movie probably as insulting to the Italians as Wild Mountain Thyme was to us here.

Edit: To be clear, wine, drugs or such things are required to make this movie 'good', watching it sober or clear eyed will make you break the telly. Italians especially should stay clear
