    Back home, tired as feck. Over 50 hours and 7 countries in 2 weeks. Now looking forward to days off and vacation. Have to visit ireland to renew a medical, but after that we might be actually heading to Africa :):):)

    38 quid for three 9" (behave) pizzas and 1 garlic bread from 4 star pizza. 3 takeouts this week which is very unusual for us. Back on bread and water tomorrow.

    Great album 👌 Even though they've received plenty of acclaim, I still think REM are under appreciated for just how good they were. Their back catalogue is so impressive. As a lyricist, Michael Stipes is up there with the best and musically as a band, they're fantastic.

    As big as they were prior that was the album that decided their place in history for me, despite what i remember as a tepid reception initially from fans at least. I know every word and chord change..

    Have no being watching anything at all for ages ... decided to catch up on stuff.

    Was watching The Boys on Amazon prime. pretty good, black humour, but gruesome. Can't they just have good acting and story ? Why do they have to go so far ...

    Anyway, there is a scene near the start of season 3, episode 1 ... I'm like what am I watching, they can't be showing this ..and oh god, no way, and then aggghh, and then oh no and then hggghhhgh

    And then there is this other scene ...

    It's horror porn. I blame game of thrones.

    Now, on to episode 2.

    OK so, going for 1 night, yea but there's been reports of people going for all 5 nights!

    I never knew Ireland was so country music mad.

    Having owned a guitar or two since the early nineties i have been asked more than a few times to play something of his. Nope, not doing it.. Not my cuppa at all, five shows has surpsied me tbh. There's no doubting he has his fanbase and credit to him for the length of show he puts on, think Bruce Springsteen and the Cure are some of the few others that really give you that long gig experience anymore.

    Well that's fair enough. If he puts on a really good show, obviously people know that and go for the experience.

    Bruce Springsteen in Nowlan Park was my all time favourite concert ever. High energy.

    I wouldn't be a big music fan to begin with, but can't think of any band or singer I'd pay to see 5 nights for.

    Maybe Queen in their prime but even then opening/closing nights would be the limit.

    I saw Elbow and John Grant a few years back in 3 arena. I knew all the words to all the songs! That was just good timing I think. I kind of fell off both artists and music since.
