    4.20 Leopardstown

RAADOBARG 13/2 represents J P Murtagh here in Clipper Logistics ect... over a mile with €200,000 in pot,, His four year old mayn't be good enough agin some of these, but he definitely handles soft/heavy going (not so sure about top two in betting - Jadoomi & Boundless Ocean - both trading at around 9/4; at least as far as soft going is certain to suit), and is capable of seeing out a mile with plenty of juice in ground so will do me EW here at a fair price - was as big as 10s earlier, which represented proper value for anyone what might have looked over the form in a timely fashion 😆

thinking of studying the 2.05, as we know ground conditions, and 7fs is a specialist trip - but there's a lot of horses to look at here,,,

will also do a hopeful double on the two picks - Raadobarg & Tenebrism

    😊

    2.05 Cork

I've got me a bit o' kip and the few hrs slumber allied with the race and conditions therein {vis a vis 7f 'specialist' trip + soft ground} hath given one t'feeling o' vivification towards the studying of same; so this degen wouldst hope to find a few what may go well 2day 😆

    EW POKES:

CURRENT OPTION 11/1 NAP,, Is a CD winner (won this race in 2019, albeit on top of the ground), won lto over 7f at Galway on soft, and the price seems generous,, If I was having one bet here; it would be on Ado McGuinness' charge,,

,,, but i's having more than one bet 😂 Some may like to lead (Spanish Tenor & Safe Voyage may need to lead or be very close to pace to win here), and surely they all can't, but, nonetheless, on form and at t'prices I can't rule any o' 'em oot 😜

    LUSTOWN BABA 18/1 , SAFE VOYAGE 17/2 , SURROUNDING 16/1 , SPANISH TENOR 50/1

If Current Option is best value, then Safe Voyage at a best priced 9/1 is prolly the worst, but me hates not backing winners, so John Quinn's nine year old requires inclusion

    _______________________________________________________________

Others in this race that aint that highly priced that i'm considering laying for 5, 6 , 7 etc places are: Rhoscolyn ~15/2 , Markaz Paname ~7/2 , Emporio ~7/1 & Andreas Vesalius ~ 9/1,,, not confident that these four are of any value here based on overall form/ratings/ground/breeding etc,, eg Markaz Paname has only had the four runs, but tho he's had three wins, he's never raced on proper soft ground, plus, on breeding, Markaz's progeny i think would prefer better going..

Loadsa picks overall = small stakes pour moi 🤣🤣

    GL all :-)

a few early EW picks/possibles for tomorrow

see on racecard there be no odds on the paper for Musselburgh tomorrow - must be a few Royalists doing their jolly old bit for her Maj RIP , being as they had narys the racemeet to cancel either today or yesterday,,,

Doncaster - Good to soft - soft in places

    2.10

DAKOTA GOLD 11/1 rule this frontrunner out at your peril,, EW

MAKANAH 7/1 towards top of betting,, wins or comes nowhere imo,, WIN only here

SIGNIFICANTLY 33/1 high enough in h'cap,, likes soft/heavy,,, outsider with EW squeak ??

SUNDAY SOVEREIGN 18/1 NB 😁 A topical one, but not bereft of hope,,, Was impressive as 2-y-o in Ireland,, yet to recapture that form,, hasn't raced much on soft/heavy in England,, Maybe P Twomey got the best outta him (as is his wont - so they say)😂 another with an EW squeak,,,

COUNT D'ORSAY 11/1 hasn't won in ~ 2yrs,, goes well this time of year tho, and is another what acts on soft/heavy going,, on flipside, he's never won north of 5fs (distance tomorrow be's 5f. 143yds.) tho,, EW

too many that can't be ruled out hyah,,, and the selections (such as they are 😃) ; i can easily pick holes in their form/find reasons to oppose - such is nature of sprint races/handicaps,,,, small stakes advised

    G'luck

I'll go with a pick/#few picks for tomorrow meself ☺️

#in keeping with multiple pix per race; i'll do the same for one tomorrow:

    4.55 Chepstow - Soft

FOUR FEET 16/1 EW Won two races on the bounce recently, but those were on the AW,, has a bit of form on turf over a mile on soft ground - if we go way back to the 6-y-o's 4th over 1mile on soft ground in June of last year at Brighton,, that run would give him a squeak, altho' he is a model of inconsistency,,

MOUNTAIN ASH 6/1 EW NB Has only one win from 19 runs, but ran a good 2nd at F. Las lto, so is in good form,, also has form on soft ground over a mile, as was seen when Rod Millman's grey gelding won well at Lingfield in May of last year,,

JAMES JUDE 12/1 EW A 3-y-old so can possibly improve - and will need to in order to win here,, Is by Kodiac, and they can appreciate cut in the ground,,, Saw a lot of support lto when ending up 5th of 12 at Notts,, that was over further and on better going, but will trust hope the yard feel the horse is in good form,, Still a bit of a hit and hope job nonetheless, regardless of his price not being a massive one - imo,,

ALBUS ANNE 20/1 EW Another speculative/hopeful one,, this filly has had eight runs and wasn't far away the last twice - those two runs were on the AW at Kempton and on top of the ground on the turf,, has a 2nd placed finishing on soft ground to her name; that was last October at Leicester,,, if she stays the mile then she should go close, one hopes 😄

tis sunny in my neck atm, and tis quite possible ground conditions may improve both here and o'er in Blighty - if so, then i might reassess 🤣

not so sure aboot that Romeo - pretty sure Musselburgh has an abandoned meet today,, I can see racecard for Musselburgh tomorrow alright, but it seems there's no betting/odds for it, so must be called off alright,,,,,

dunno about them Scots tho - at least when it comes to their place in pecking order; think they're a slightly separate entity than, say, NI, England or Wales...

Donn McLean #the scumbag referencing 'soft ground' just before last race 😒 (2.05)

#already had us bets done, and did no more, but, regardless, ground looked 'good' enough to mine eye anyhoo 😒 times do seem to bear out the fact that t'ground is indeed 'soft' - likely hav to wait til t'morrow and check results for more clarity re me concern/s re t'going descriptions proffered 😂

hard to see looking on tiny screen, but they didn't seem to be doing much 'cutting up' of the ground there - if it was soft it didn't seem to bother the relatively big-priced winner I'm A Gambler, who's never before won on soft before today (granted, he's hardly ever raced before on it - has won on 'good to soft' before, but that's no 'Soft' )

Will know more when me watch it on TTV in a few mins,,,

Safe Voyage ran on late, but too late alas, and finished 2nd :(

will hope 4 betterer luuk in t'other races ☺️

    LUXEMBOURG!!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to know what Soumillon was up to on Vadeni. Took him up the inside when there was enough room to swing out. Seemed to be moving until he got squeezed to the rail.

    Kempton 6.15

Solar Orbiter ~4/5 hasn't got a great draw - for one what broke slow fto - in box nine here ,, But he did win all the same on his debut at Newcastle at the start of the month,, will consider for place-lay(s) depending on price available,, 4/5 looks about right for one that won very easy and in a fast time too,, am hoping the draw or the different track/surface can perhaps get him beat,, wouldn't be going over evens for win lay here, but if can lay him for three places @ 1/3 or so, then will do so for hope/interest, and shorter for the four places,, no bends at Newcastle would've helped his cause a lot that day, so the twisty bits at Kempton offer up a smidge of hope as regards his possible defeat

Not a lot of competition for him here tbf among the raced ones, where we see Crisford's unraced Pussycat Eyes as provisional 7/2 2nd fav for this Class 5 Novice Stakes race,,

Will go with two here - one with a live chance on formbook, and the other more e a 'hit and hope' one

SHIN SAW GYI 7/1 EW. First run for Archie Watson. Has two 2nd placed finishes from two runs at two different AW tracks - Southwell & Chelmsford - with them both over 6fs. Has a very good draw in box two, and it's difficult to not see this 3-y-o filly go close.. doubt 7/1 be on offer come the day, but, as things stand she's impossible to rule out,, Will likely do a place bet on her as well - depending on price,,

IMPRINT 66/1 EW is a very hopeful pick here,, is down in trip from his first time out run, which was at the course and over 7fs,, Ran wide that day and eventually faded about a furlong out,, has a similar draw, and will hope Rhys Clutterbuck (who takes over from Callan) can go the shortest way around this time on mark Rimell's 3-y-o ballless son of Footstepsinthesand, and perhaps be competitive,, Gary Moore has one here, where Queally takes t'ride, so not much to read into young Clutterbuck not being on the shorter priced Robs Secret, alas, as Queally is likely no. 1 jock in that yard

no good most the picks today: Yaaser didn't have a whole lot of luck in-running, and suffered a bit of interference as well and ended up third,, Boogie Time was up with the pace, but the massive drifter faded tamely about 2f out.. Janus ran a good race but found one to beat him alas :(

anyone what followed Saffie Osborne today is probably getting drunk for a week 😃 not me unfortunately 😓

Forget the past, and Back to the Future 😃

    Saturday 17th Sep

    Navan Good - Yielding

High City Roller ~8/11 paper fav,, Looks like one what might want further,, the three immediately below WPM's 5-y-o in the betting are all capable of putting the favourite to the sword here in this slightly shy of 2m maiden hurdle,, difficult to predict the prices come raceday, but, for me, this one's worth a lay @ 4/5 or shorter,,

Another one what might want further - or a fence perchance 😂 - but is capable of being involved at the prices, is Crawford's HAREL DU MARAIS ~ 10/1 EW

    😊

4/7 shot that fav,, can lay High City Roller NAP @ ~8/11 ,, looks good to me - think he gets beat here and will be hassled if he's up with pace @Konny Rool ☺️

    3.30 Hamilton

    BURTONLODGE BEAUTY 9/1 EW NB

Burtonlodge Beauty has had 16 runs (5 for current trainer) in total, with most of them being poor/moderate, but she's the only one with a decent and recent piece of form that can be given strong claims here. Mark Winn (7) won on her 2 runs back over CD on the soft going. She was close to the pace that day at Hamilton were Burtonlodge Beauty, and today will be only the second time the young apprentice gets the leg up.

It was soft ground and the selection won in a good time for the race conditions when she won in August. Good to Soft-Soft in places is going description today, so going should be fine for the selection so long as ground is the same come race time. Put in a poor run lto, and she'll be drawn low today as opposed to high in box 12 when she won on August 26.

Kraken Power (drawn beside pick in box one) might give Linda Perratt's 3-y-o filly something to chase as Jim Goldie's horse normally likes to lead. The other low drawn ones usually seem to be up with the pace too, so Burtonlodge Beauty won't be all alone and should have plenty of cover if she needs it.

Enough to like here to back the horse what might represent more value for the win part than place, but she's big enough for an each way and that's what me'll do

    gl :)
