HKC Quantum 70 - Several times a day with line fault error message

I have a HKC Quantum 70 control panel and lately it's started waking me up in the middle of the night with a beep at regular 5 second intervals complaining of a "line fault". Also happens several times during the day.

The phone line seems fine, is this likely an internal fault in the control panel?

More importantly is there a way to turn off the beeping?

The alarm system monitors the voltage on the line, if it drops then this will be indicated on the keypad.

You can also go into the line monitor and turn it off so it does not show the fault but please be aware if line is down you wont know about it.

The blue battery light is also flashing and there is a message about "Control panel battery needs replacing".

Would that be linked?

Is the battery something I can replace myself and where is the best place to source these? Thanks

The control panel is the non-SIM card type. Just uses landline.

Depending on the time the battery is installed it may need to be replaced, two resets and then replace.

Engineer access is needed to reset the battery timer once new battery is installed.

DTV menu to change the options to not monitor the line fault if you want to turn it off.

cool... I'll give you a shout later in the week. It's one you installed in 2013... I'll check the battery levels on the PIRs too as they might need changing too

Also I found the Audio menu and now no more beeping, thanks again :)
