Mitchelstown - Parking and cafe recommendations?

Hi folks, Will be in Mitchelstown tomorrow for a few hours.. whats the parking situation in town? Also, any recommendations for somewhere cosy for a cuppa and cake?

Parking either side of the main street and loads and loads of parking in the square.
I don't know if there is pay and display there, but I certainly have never bought a ticket there. Most towns only have a traffic warden rotating between several towns so you'd be unlucky to get caught.

we actually went to The Firgrove Hotel.. parking free and food really good (not fancy but hearty) and v nice relaxing dining/seating area..
