Dreadful out in tel aviv. Not good enough over the 2 legd ultimately. Goalie is hard to take given we could have had an arm chair in goal v Armenia tonight.

Crawford needs to go.

Awful tactics, awful team selection, awful formation, awful substitutions, awful penalties. It's a recurring theme with him and frankly it's more down to the players themselves that they made this play-off, rather than anything Crawford did.

I didn't have much faith in our U21 keeper anyway. He doesn't look a good keeper and was a weak link. Though penalties were not his fault as the ones we took were truly terrible

Devastating for the U21s, what a campaign so disappointing for it to end like that, definite lack of preparation for penalties seen in those three awful misses

I think we're seeing the reason why Hendrick and Brady are finished.

Hourihane actually composed since coming on and a really good ball into Obafemi for the goal. No doubt about it obafemi is our main forward now.

The back 3 will be hard to budge. I cant see omabamadiele getting back in easily.

You think Kenny would take one of the back 3 off now though and go a little more positive.

I agree.

Israel were there for the taking in Tallaght but Crawford's negative tactics and substitutions were there to see.

Didn't see the match tonight but leaving Festy on the bench and choosing that moment to give Azaz his debut at U21 level, on paper looks like a terrible decision. I stand to be corrected though.

We're two nil up and cruising, no real reason to take off a defender to add an attacker.

<edit> with that strike by them, definitely glad we've still our full defence on the field 😅

The U21 team would have been very good if they had the 4 or 5 seniors playing with them. A real pity they could not get over the line without them. Not winning the home game where they had a few chances was the real let off. Israel were fairly good in fairness.

2-1 somehow they've scored. Doherty should have cleared it.

As bad a set of penalties as I've seen. Wright with a short run up which seems to miss more often that not. Ferguson seemed to close his eyes and just boot it as hard as he could straight down the middle.

Its a case of what could have been when you see israel take 3 lads out of their seniors for the game. I said here a few days ago that we should have done the same. Especially after Mahers mistake in leg one. Crazy stuff we didnt put out a stronger team if we're really serious about developing.
