Any good kebabs in Cork

One thing I have learned though, never get the lamb doner on a spit style from cheapo places (there are many in Cork City).

The quality of the meat they use is so poor, and full of bits of bone. I lost a filling from it once. I wouldn't want to think about the animal welfare that poor lamb was raised in. Spend your € wisely :/

I'm on Coberg street now, it doesn't look very inviting from the outside. Is it even open I wonder?

The opening hours look sparse, which is no bad thing.

I'm not a slow cooker owner, but what cut of lamb do you use, and can it be done on the hob? (TY!)

I did sometimes find the doner meat a bit cold if it was sitting for a while after being cut. But that's a pity about the overall experience.

Now that I'm living on Western Road, has anyone tried the local kebabs in places like Ignite, Iqraa's or Lavish?

Has anyone tried Amigo's on Washington Street? The reviews for the kebabs look good. And it's not a pure takeaway joint too, which gives me hope.
