Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just a little bit of panic from Elliott there. Mo looking excellent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,306 ✭✭✭Widdensushi

    Milner playing well.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,124 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

On the 'Inside Anfield Training' he bangs them in all sides!

Shite when it matters though 😄

All gone a bit flat. Gomez and Milner doing well.

I have this on my phone as I work away at the desk. Jota seems to be playing very well but little mention of Bobby?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,365 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Taylor is some cheat.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,937 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Taylor looking straight at the foul on Salah and completely ignoring it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,583 ✭✭✭mormank

That was 100& a foul on MO!! Anyone else in the league and thats a free. It's so pathetic at this stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,124 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

No Martin. If City scored that VAR would certainly not overrule that (considering the f**l up there).

Tyler absolutely desperate for Haaland to score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,051 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Between Tyler and Taylor this is a tough watch at times... playing well though, Mo looks a different player now he's been let off the leash. Elliott doing really well too, popping up all over in support of the attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,051 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

That yelp when Haaland went up at the back post for the header is the most excited I've heard him in years!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,205 ✭✭✭fyfe79

Absolutely. I'd say he only has one hand on the mic (if you know what I mean).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Played pretty well here to be fair but obviously City can score out of nowhere.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,051 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

As well as some decent attacking play, it's the most organised we've looked all season anyway, which is a plus.

Played well, can't fault that half considering the form this season.

Milner and Gomez doing well to be fair.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

Good half. Fabinho should’ve done much better with that pull back at the end. Elliott playing very well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,114 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Playing well I think, without creating too many clear cut chances but there are signs of an opening. Game is fairly in the balance.

Ref needs to get a handle on some deliberate fouls

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,937 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

I'd like to see Salah playing off Nunez in the second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,322 ✭✭✭ratracer

Robbo had obviously been in the spinach during his recovery, he’s over-hitting everything!!

I'm not disappointed in that half. Still a lot of underperformers out there, particularly VVD, Thiago and Bobby but not losing so I'm OK with it.

    Nunez for Bobby soon please!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,645 ✭✭✭theoneeyedman

    Been OK

We've been compact out of possession, the back 4 has played quite deep, and Jota has worked back well and closed De Bruyne, we've neutralised them a lot without a whole lot of threat ourselves.

We've played through the lines OK up to a point, front 3 especially Bobby inclined to give it away but we have tended to get isolated a bit.

How do we win is the next question. Keep as it is I'd say for another 20 minutes, maybe Darwin comes in for Bobby por Jota to liven things up then? I'd imagine Henderson will make an appearance too.

More solid than we have been recently. Have we confirmed that Fab doesn't have lead in his boots like a Roy of the Rovers story?

Thought City players looked cagey at times, which Pep went mental at shortly before HT when they had a chance to break but didn't.

Would love a similar second half and to schnake a sliddery winner on 85 mins. Even nil nil would be good, sadly that's where we are now where for the previous 4 years or so this was almost a title decider.

We’re definitely more solid, though it has come at the cost of us being a bit ropey going forward.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,615 ✭✭✭Damien360

Been hoping for a more cautious approach to games and this is it. No gung-Ho attitude. Happy enough so far. A sneaky 1-0 win for us is something I would love to see.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,123 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

That had to be a goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Feck just got a touch to put it past the post. Was going in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,365 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    World class Ederson.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,051 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Oh Mo! Thought that was in all day!

Outstanding save in fairness, but maybe shouldn't have given him a chance.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,524 ✭✭✭Pepp1989

Ah mo. You've been brilliant but had to score. Had to.

Great save but should have scored/tap in for Jota

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,365 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Can barely blame Salah. It was that good.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,396 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

    No corner, no surprise.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,123 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

And they go up and score.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,051 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Very irritating for none of the officials to see the save.

Aw for **** sake, **** typical for them to score after what should have been a corner.

Not even a corner given though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

    That’s a clear foul.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,148 ✭✭✭Augme

One on and one and he doesn't score. Very easy to blame Salah tbh. Especially now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,524 ✭✭✭Pepp1989

When ederson was down, why can't var say to Taylor that's a corner btw.

Guaranteed Taylor will be the one to go against the status quo. He'll give it.

    (Ooops fair fecks to him)

    Get Out !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Ah Jota you have to score that.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,123 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

FFS JOTA that had to be a fcuking goal too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,694 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

    So unlucky for Diogoal

    Taylor is a disgrace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,051 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

Good... and I'd imagine there was a word in his ear that it shouldn't have been a City kick out anyway, so the foul let's them off the hook. Very clear foul on Fab alright though.

Oh jota!! Had to score that!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,937 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

If you wanted that to fall to any player to header it would be Jota.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

That’s twice Taylor has ignored clear fouls that almost led to two City goals.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,411 ✭✭✭facehugger99

    Tyler absolutely gutted.
