    Hi all,

Two of my loves in life (of many) are motorcycles and photography. I have had an idea to create a photo series of some of the best, most well known and prettiest roads in the country.

Basically it is an excuse to both get out on the bike more and to take more photos.

Any suggestions of particularly photogenic roads you have come across or know of?

Adare, if you can find it at a time when it's not choked with traffic

    Anywhere around Mullaghmore, Co. Sligo.

The N67 between Ballyvaughan and Black Head in Co Clare is a stunning ride on the bike, and in a good day the scenery across Galway Bay is breathtaking.

It’s a decent enough road surface for the most part, with good forward views into the bends.

The Gap Road up from Lacken, Co Wicklow between Black Hill and Sorrel. Then on to the Sally Gap through the upper Liffey valley. Then from Sally Gap to Laragh via either Lough Tay (Luggala) or Glenmacnass.
