honestly its only in the last few years really since fifa 19 that my pack luck changed. For the 10 previous years I got CR7 once in 2012 and tots Pogba in fifa 16 i think it was. I think I deserve it after 10 years of shite :D

I'm using Casemiro. In previous years he would have just been fodder but he is actually a viable option this year which is nice.

Can’t wait to play against all those red Mbappé the weekend after next. I’m convinced those players are employed by EA because I’ve never known anyone to get such luck in their reds.

8-2 in the qualifiers.

This WL is going to be insanely sweaty considering how good the TOTW is, but definitely worth playing for the 0.000001% shot at red Mbappe. I won't be greedy, I'd take red Dembele as his gold has been so good for me. 😅

Really starting to notice the huge step-up in standard in division 3 in Rivals. I'm winning 1, losing about 5 for a while now despite having a really good team. No complaints, my opponents are just miles better.

I also noticed tonight that I have the 90 games done and dusted for the seasons milestone rewards which are still two weeks away now also 🙈😅

I have a feeling EA might start bumping up the pack weight and how good promos are over the next week or two as Modern Warfare 2 will be out and I think they could lose a lot of the player base to it.

I just want a Red Casemiro 😂 His rare gold version has been brilliant for me, so I’d kill for the upgrade.

B.Mendy from rewards, as well as dupe Kane, TAA and some other fodder. Mendy is a decently big win, but not until I move on from my current 352 formation (unless I opt to be less lazy and set up a formation switch at the start of a game….).

Bought VVD and Baby Socrates to bolster my squad for the weekend. OTW Lewandowski has gotten his upgrade too. Might avoid playing tomorrow and wait till Saturday to start. Had a nightmare Friday last week, but felt Saturday was significantly easier, with far more people giving away wins.

9-1 in qualifiers. I think matchmaking is totally broken for qualifiers and wl. Most of the people I played this qualifying round were just awful. Very different to rivals. I'm in div 2 atm and it feels like fair matches against people with similar skill levels.

Rivals is the best for even games most of the time. Qualifiers are all over the place. FUT Champs matchmaking has not been as fine tuned as last year in my opinion.

I’ve hit that roadblock in rivals now where I’m probably a level higher than I should be, in terms of balanced games. I’m winning one game in about four.

What division are you in now?

I'm in 4, and I find it less sweaty than 5.

I agree that certain tactics are very annoying to play against. A line of midfielders in front of the defence. Also pressure is ridiculously OP this year, I play games where I'm both simultaneously pressured and every player of mine is marked. It's like the enemy team is 10 absolutely perfect defenders who never do anything wrong and can perfectly predict every move I make.

The divisions usually balance themselves out as the season goes on. Ironically, I find Div 1 and Elite less sweaty than Div 2 and 3.

Hi all,

decided to try the ten hour trial and here we are three weeks later. Enjoying being back playing FIFA FUT.

So this is my squad and hoping for some advice La Liga/Prem Mix but I’m seriously considering going all la Liga.

The tradeable cards are Ederson, Cancelo, Son, Correa and Varane so I can sell all my Prem cards for about 220k. I have Llorente that can go RB and I can sell Navas for another 70k.

Also finding it hard to choose between Danjuma, Correa and Falcao. Hate using Haaland.

Any upgrades?

La Liga is a great shout this year.

IF Correa is one of the best strikers this year. I'd have him in ahead of Falcao for sure.

Llorente is one of the better box-to-box CM's also. He's wasted at RB.

To be honest that's a really good team you have for this stage of the game and more than sufficient.

Might be worth persisting with it and waiting for a big SBC or saving for a game-changing player instead.

Yeah, same here. I've felt it for the last few days to be honest.

I went 8-2 in the qualifiers but the game to potentially go 9-1 was ridiculous. Mbappe and Neymar both hit the bar from about 6 yards out, had an expected goals of something like 5.4 vs 0.8 and lost 0-2! 🙈

Not complaining as I'm grateful to be able to qualify, but even in Rivals it's felt very sluggish with a huge amount of button delay.

Yeah, definitely the 6.

Just give away wins for your first 4 or 5 and then start playing properly.

You'll cruise to 6 wins from the remaining games and will either match 1) people doing the same or 2) poorer players.

Depends if you think the TOTW pack is worth it or not, IMO. For me, the two red picks is enough stress.

On next gen at least it feels completely different to 2022.

Honestly I think the majority of it is far better. There's a wider range of players that are usable. Slow, good passing players are viable in midfield for example. Slower forwards are viable too. You'll see players like Casemiro and Harry Kane actually used this year.

Completely agree. Much better game this year and it’s great that slow “unusable” players are now usable.. I have Trezeguet base icon up front and he’s got 50G18A in 31 games.

6-3 in WL atm too, bloody dread coming up against Haaland. No matter what I do, he’ll win the ball back/retain the ball after a perfectly good tackle and belt it into the net giving me zero chance.

Well, that’s gonna be my first and last WL. Choked it at the end there, lost 4 games in a row and went down to the final game where I lost 4-3. Finished 10-10, reds were Grifo + Rabiot and TOTW pack was Jude + fodder.

Quit/give away your first 4 or 5.

You'd then get the 6 wins in about a hour.

It's definitely the best effort/reward ratio.

yeah I only copped during the week that I don't need to play players beside each other for chem. Some annoy me though as you can't put the likes of Eusebio as a CAM . only CF or ST so you're limited to certain formations to start with.

11 wins in WL.

Went 11-5 which was my best weekend ever. Unfortunately I was pushing it playing as long as I did so gave the rest away due to time constraints and couldn't push for the 14 but I doubt I'd have had enough to get it anyway.

Nothing from the reds, 3 discards from the TOTW pack and nothing of use in the packs, but I still cleared about 90k from it.

Mbappe coming in clutch in his first WL who really made the difference.

I was getting a bit frustrated with him at times because 1) I was trying to force everything through him and 2) any time he missed a chance I'd think "FFS, 1.4m for that!", but when I stopped trying to force things and remembered that every player is going to miss chances regardless of their price, it started to click. Opposition players focus so hard on stopping him that it opened up even more space for Neymar in the CAM role.

63 goals and 17 assists in 55 games across WL qualifiers, WL itself, and division 3 Rivals for Mbappe so far, so he's doing okay! 😅

85/86/87 fodder looks a great investment at the moment, but it just depends on how long it takes them to release decent content to push them up. All of those cards should go up 3k each with a good SBC, but there's no good SBC leaked e.g. Heros/Icons, so who knows.

The market itself is in the mud as everyone seems to be trying to go liquid ahead of the leaked WC mode. Haaland is down at 100k from 180k a couple of days ago as an example!

Yeah, the free kick camera one annoys me so much. It’s only the ones from distance, so like in your own half etc where I can only see the kick taker but can’t see where my other players are, so it’s a hit and hope most times.

didn't realise there was a WC mode. Damn..was hoping we would get similiar to the otw players from the last one.. ie the green cards..that 5* wf/skill Acuna was fantastic.

Then again no fear EA would give us a potential end game card at Xmas.

Just been whacked with a full market ban on my main account… no idea why. I’ve only been trading with the gold commons required for daily SBCs. FIFA done for me on that account anyway unless I somehow get unbanned via EA support (highly unlikely!). Also means the WC Hero preorder pack goes to waste.
