Unfortunately can't see enough people holding firm long enough to make a difference but yeah good idea. Its only 20kw of electricity juice anyway I won't be going there until I have a reason to go there.

Tried to use my €20 credit at one of the ionity chargers in athlone, but the app seemed to be saying I could only select to fully charge the car which was estimated to cost €50!

Wouldn't let me start the charge (because I didn't have enough credit I think) so went on to kilbeggan esb charger instead.

Used this today, but even with credit ionity wouldn't start until I had "sufficient" balance. Added €20 and started charging.

Unfortunately I had to stop charging pretty quickly after starting, as cashel has no water ATM, and no toilets.

With the charge to full limitation being applied to ionity chargers, does it only use whatever funds are necessary for the charge? i.e. I have to select charge to full but I only charge to 80%

Yes. I think it estimates the required charge, and thus the required funds to get that charge, and that amount has to be in your wallet. Bit of a dose if you only ever top up from a low SOC, because I guess it will think you need loads of charge, and thus need loads of credit in your wallet even if you're only adding 10kWh. That's my guess

In terms of Liffey valley its pay parking in addition to pay charging.

For pay for parking on arrival you don't get any ticket at barrier. Instead it reads your car registration and lets you in.

On exit you can touch to pay by credit card.

Another bad option is to queue for pay machines but on a weekday there were 20 people queuing for each machine. On arrival at the machine it asks for you car registration number, which many people do not know, and the process takes a long time per person. Avoid if possible. You could be delayed 20+ minutes.

No, the €10 should appear instantly once you copy and past the code, mine for example “user-808682” into the section within the app, “me” in bottom corner then “Redeem a Code”.
