Travelling to India

Hi All,
Just wondering what would be a good air line to travel to India with? I understand you also need a holiday visa which you apply through the Indian embassy. But India been such a long way was just hoping someone could recommended a good airline as I will be travelling alone and am not really great at booking plane tickets etc.

Emirates
I flew from Dublin - Dubai - Bengaluru
Economy is very comfortable, Food was lovely and Plane had Wi-Fi

You can do Dublin - Dubai - Delhi
its a long flight no matter so you should do it in comfort.
you will have have the option of minimum connection flight of 3-4 hours or an overnight in Dubai.
I did the overnight on the way back.

Second Emirates. Great airline. Dubai is a nice airport to mooch around for a few hours. A light train connects the terminals.
Be prepared for the chaos of India !

I feel the need to second this vote for Emirates, have used them many times, great airline.
I found Ethiad a very close second.
