France blessed to come away with that.

Very entertaining game, but I think it shows France aren't necessarily the team they were over the last 2 years.

Some great scores in this game. Impressive of France to have the composure to win there - thought Australia might have done enough.

France are really formidable at the moment, very excited to see them face South Africa.

That was Frances first game together since the summer... and they played so poorly against an Oz team that was playing well, and France still won...

Aldritt talking about their joy of defending and it being the heart of their team. The world of rugby may rue the arrival of Shaun Edwards on French shores. Obviously a terrific coach but he's given that setup a change of mindset and they've a lot of belief going into the world cup. Only a decade late given the talent on French shores, but they must be favourites a year out.

Australia deserved that. Such a poor missed tackle. One on one 15m from line you can’t be missing those. Aussie team was gutted.

He went too high and just got a face full of hand for his troubles. It was a fantastic hand-off.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

Big game to decide who's the 2nd best team in the world ;)

And next week will be the same.

France 2 games from a perfect season.

    SA looking to bounce back.

A clash of styles. The bosh versus the brilliance.

Brilliant coverage on Prime. No fooling around with lower than HD quality. All games can be streamed afterwards and they put up great highlights too - a short and a long version.

Australia would always be decent once they had a scrum and a goalkicker. They're just creative and like the French not afraid to attack from their own 22 off turnover ball.

Very little between the top 5 or 6 teams in the world.

I think the world cup is coning one year to early for australia. They have a class team, they have brought through talent that is the envy of many but It might just be to soon for a RWC.

Have people come across many pubs showing the games exclusively on Amazon by any chance? Guessing with competition from other sports on might just be pubs which focus more on showing rugby usually but wondering do many have it?

Theres a free 30 day trial on at the moment... thats a very slick offer....

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,793 ✭✭✭✭Eod100

Saw there was a 1 week trial. Didn't know they'd a month. Guess as long as pubs have smart TV they'd be able to stream, otherwise might need something like chromecast. Don't think there's a dedicated channel.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,143 ✭✭✭Brief_Lives

Yea, I have the app on my phone and use a chromecast...

But the main house tv has an Amazon app, installed....

This is just an awful game of rugby. England utterly unimpressive in first ten

no noise in the stadium at all

Id say Rassie will be on Twitter complaining about that wrong knock-on call... that fella loves a whinge...

Fairly turgid game alright so far

    Grim.

    England are still poor.

Has a real Sunday afternoon vibe. Even one verse of Swing Low just fizzled out

Conditions seem wet enough over there but a very poor game so far.

England owning the ball but not a whole lot of invention from them so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,143 ✭✭✭Brief_Lives

Who is the half time commentary team... Hartley is there.. Topsy...?... and now they are examining what to do with a wet ball...

England are so one dimensional and it's awful to watch. Massive team, forwards and backs all powerful in contact but still no real fluency to their play.

One of those games where they feel they can win without relying too much on the set piece.

5 minutes of England whooping and patting their backs for infringements they hadn't actually won and then Argentina cut them open.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,219 ✭✭✭A-Train

That’s a lovely break away try.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,793 ✭✭✭✭Eod100

Has anyone else lost the commentary?

That looked like a high tackle by Nowell granted the Argentina lad was going down but surely had to be a penalty
