Smoking is a personal choice. I haven't done it since I was 23, but I really, really enjoyed it, because its really, really enjoyable.

However, it comes with personal consequences and nobody alive can say they don't know what they are. It's why private medical insurance becomes prohibitive if you continue to smoke and why the insurers won't cover your bill if you get a smoking related illness and have lied to them about it.

There was a fella I went to college with and even if he had long fecked off you could tell he was around earlier in the day because the room still stank of fags. He wasn't smoking in the rooms themselves but the smell from him was that strong. I cant remember his name, wonder is he still alive

at least there is now quality control and appropriate oversight… hygiene, processes, health and safety with cigarettes manufactured at a facility…

banning enables the black market and all quality goes out the window,

ive a cousin who has been hospitalised with asthma, still smoking 30-40 a day…

The real issue here OP is that you’re still taking the bus at your age.

So I was on the bus this morning nice and comfy and what happens but a filty dirty obese person sits in front of me. He smelt of a thousand BigMacs. Absolutely disgusting. Thankfully he was not going to far but it still interfered with me clean air. 

Next time I will spray some deodorant see how they like it. 

Also people who over eat that greased up processed crap. Do they not worry how they are fecking up their bodies?

Seriously, if you can't familiarise yourself with a couple of blue signs to the point of getting yourself through a theory test and the couple of theory questions at the start of the driving test, then maybe driving is not for you, it really doesn't matter where you're going to drive.

As for 'mobile for a while', if this was on the electric moped that you wanted to ride on the footpath, sorry you were just asking for a friend, well it's no harm the Garda set you straight. If you were using that thing in a public place without licence / tax / insurance, don't presume that you won't be receiving a summons in the post just because the garda didn't mention it at the time.

Guinness Farts.........I was in a place not too long after the ban came in and I would have welcomed the sweet masking aroma of smoke to cover the cloying overpowering smell of intestinal putridity and decaying despair my olfactory organs were assaulted with...

Thankfully people seem more aware now and put a cork in it.......or Guinness have put in some sort of neutralising additive, it's a very particular smell, it's not the same as if a bunch of lads have had a feed of smithwicks or Murphys for instance.....

Pleasant might be a stretch but they're usually fruity no? They certainly don't smell bad anyway, unlike normal cigarettes which are vile.

Question:

I dont smoke, never have.

Recently though, a guest in my house took out a vape and starting vaping.

Same person was in my car and did the same.

Would it be considered rude to do this, especially as they know I dont smoke myself?

Thanks I was not sure what they were doing for a minute as they had turned sideways nearly like they thought I would not see.

Then vaping in my car, same again turning sideways and taking a couple of quick pulls.

They did not ask.

Was not sure what the etiquette was about vaping, but if they try it again I will say it.

Unless it's the smell from a flavoured one thats annoying you, I wouldn't worry about it.

Whatever about their smell, what's indefensible is the scummy habit many smokers have of stamping out their fag on the street or the path.

Why do they think it's okay to litter the place like that?
