    That was a fascinating lineout from France, the jumping pod must have ran 5-7 metres backwards, towards the centre of the pitch and won a good lineout, very central..

    Barnes is a terrible referee, the worst international referee in my opinion.

    That yellow card for South Africa without any prior team warning was ridiculous. He let the French away three times at their own end.

    France in front now and Barnes has played a huge and unfair part in that.

    I disagree completely. I think Barnes has refereed this game brilliantly. South Africa infringed on about three separate occasions at that maul. They were also warned in the first half about their discipline near their own line. Barnes was just being consistent.

    Considering how many flashpoints there have been tonight another referee would have lost control of this game. Barnes never has and kept a lid on what could have been a mess of a game.

    They'd just given away a cynical penalty to stop a maul driving over a couple of minutes before, and then it was another blatantly cynical penalty to stop French momentum whe they were defensiveluly stretched. Absolutely warranted a yellow.
