My brother has his 2nd tree up. He started just after Halloween I think he usually has 4 in various rooms in the house. Just your average bungalow. Total Christmas nut !

Ryan Tubridy said this morning that the Toy Show is on this day two weeks. Obviously I knew that was the case, but it makes it sound so close when you hear it out loud. THIS DAY TWO WEEKS!!!

It’s hard work getting the decorations down, hope to start next weekend myself, I need an extra set of lights, a few other bits I hope to pick them up in the next few days

Got an online delivery that came in a big box going to use the box to get all my presents together, I always misplace something and I’m searching high and low still come Christmas Eve to wrap it

anyone look into the Christmas markets at Dublin Castle, I believe it ticketed but free it launched today?

I wonder if Liffey valley charging for parking will have a knock on especially to anyone who knows how to get there the "back way" avoiding toll charges.

That said while I don't go that often whenever I do go it's first thing Sunday morning and it's busy enough even during summer.

I always loved the position of my Birthday you've the Christmas stuff in the shops but it's not to close to Christmas either.

Mince pies are a little piece of Christmas heaven wrapped in pastry! Wouldn't be the same without them...

Saw our first Christmas tree on our walk this morning 😁

I was in a meeting in the Clayton in Ballsbridge on Friday and unless I am developing severe memory loss, they lashed up a load of the decorations and tree while I was in the meeting. Lovely to walk out of the meeting room and be greeted with a taste of Christmas

One house on our street has their tree and lights up. Walking through Waterford city yesterday and all the council lights are up and ready to go and also the massive Christmas tree.

Just back from the mobbed blanchardstown shopping centre. Lights look amazing this year, was very impressed with the decorations. Santa arrived just as we were leaving... place went mental!

I spent a good bit of yesterday cutting making reindeer decorations for outside the house. I had an little elf's 'help'. Her helping included switching on and off the switch at the plug in quick succession causing the jig-saw to jump nearly taking a finger off me and ruining one of the legs of the reindeer, but it add character. Not finished as I need a coping saw for the antlers, too intricate for my jig-saw.
