Thats different though. Quinn is a criminal. A chancer. He let me you and our children pick uo the tab.

He might have millions in switzerland and india but he wont be buried with his money and his legacy and reputation are ruined.

Aye. She knows. (Or she is).

A real uninvited vitriolic attack, only necessary if you know more than you’re letting on.

Quinn made a big mistake doing this documentary.

Whatever minor doubt was out there about his involvement in the bad goings-on, he showed his hatred for Kevin Lunney when he had the chance to sympathise.

He let his guard down here big time.

I got that impression too. A vicious character.

Shows how deluded and arrogant he is, maybe thinking it would be a fluff piece with a woe me angle and it's dragged his kids back into it who might wish it to have been in the past at this stage though I've not much sympathy for them either as they were all adults when this happened I think.

Sean Quinn, what a complete Narcissist.

Fair play to FR Oliver O Reilly said Mafia Godfather Controlling the violence against Kevin Lunney.. He said he was a Compulsive Liar..

Sean Quinn had no remorse. He cried for himself.

For all the deluded boardsies " we are paying 2% levy on insurance because of Sean Quinn insurance failure and he still lives in a mansion after costing the taxpayer millions..

Not sure who came off worse there, the wife or Quinn.

MacBeth and Lady MacBeth vibes off the two of them.

Maybe he doesn’t care , some people are utterly without shame so things like lasting reputation and legacy in so far as what people think of them doesn’t enter their head

The irony isnt lost on me that they hated the dublin crowd with a passion but yet used a guy called " dublin jimmy" to do their heavy lifting.

How unfortunate yet funny would it be if "dublin jimmy" was ultimately their last fatal mistake.

Wow. He came across as seriously fcuked up in the latter stages. Never gave a toss about the kids either. Completely and utterly off his trolley I reckon

Shows how much the RA had fallen that they made such a balls of things with Lunney. Quinn must have been wishing for the old days when people could be just disappeared.

Must have been short a few pound on the ground to get that ape in, cab and ARA must have been watching the money trail closely.

For her only minute on screen she showed more bitterness than Sean, she'd fierce hatred for the local priest. He even tried to temper what she said a bit.

Funny how the priest never named Quinn, I think, in his sermon. But Quinn named himself as the subject of the priest's sermon.

My wife and I just had a conversation along those lines.

Sean Quinn may have been the most honest business man going for 40 years, in his opinion and in the opinion of many up there, but when push came to shove and the consequences of his own poor judgement came lapping around the door, he did deliberately dishonest things.

That makes him a dishonest man forever and a crook for conspiring to bury those assets that he knew they were coming for.

The measure of a man's real character, is what he would do if he knew he would never be found out.

I've always said money corrupts and this only serves to confirm it.

Let's be honest here, Sean quinn owed Anglo the 4bn because they approved dodgy loans to prop up the share price. The taxpayer is only on the hook because the government decided to nationalise Anglo. The taxpayer wasn't in the picture at all when Sean quinn was up to his shenanigans.

Anglo should have been let fail and their administrators would have done exactly the same as ibrc did, so Sean quinns theory of some dublin/govt conspiracy wouldn't hold water

It seemed like he almost confirmed himself as paymaster by accident when discussing the authorities/media going after the lads that paid for the attacks rather than the perps. Little slip of the tongue there.

If I had of made 5 billion my first move would have been to upgrade that yoke.

I might be down to my last few hidden away million now but my young wife would be hot as sh1t while I strolled round my mansion.

I can't see him loving her for her winning personality either.

Decent programme. At the end of the day, people would eventually have forgiven the business errors. But the violence perpetrator against Lunney etc was a bridge too far.

Noticeable tonight, that his Board's border supporters have been mainly absent.

Sure thats the same for anyone who got a mortgage for 300k in thebceltic tiger years but were only earning 30k. Bollix. You cant borrow money or gamble with money you cant repay.

He might need treatment for that addiction.

Its an irish thing to be able to walk away from millions or billions it would seem.

Im waiting for one of the red tops to engage an ex fbi profiler to give their opinion.

Without going off on too much of a tangent (I hope), I think there's a fundamental difference between manufacturing and financialisation.

With manufacturing you're making something real out of materials. Whereas with these stock market deals its a kind of conjuring money out of thin air.

The desire to just magic up money through hype or manipulation seems to be corrupting. That kind of financial wizardry is far from the logic of heavy industry.

He reminds me in some ways of my father with his stubbornness who is from the same era. When you know and he and everyone else knows a bad judgment call has been made:

"That was a mistake" or "That was probably a mistake"

Except with my dad the rare admission is about something trivial like buying some ill fitting furniture - not losing billions on CFD's.
