What's this lad on about? Our current president got his bum in the seat on the basis of being a one term president. Reneged on this and not possible to dislodge.

We'd actually be better off with an Ard Rí here, a great Gaelic chief who would occupy the Aras and pass on the title to their childer. We'd love it and lap it up.

Can you imagine what would happen if in our next election to the Aras, we have a 'dark skinned' or Islamic candidate or one married/ partnered to same? We'd see the truer nature of Irish society then and it's not that different from the Brits. They are arguably more tolerant than us for the most part.
