    thats a very old pump with the jack port in the corner

    very old capacitor as well

    Yes those 2 things and Phillips screws instead of Allen's and no vacuum port in cover.

    How plentiful are they?

    Thanks Jim. This is a 1992 burner. Oil heating would have been rare around here previous to then. Well most that were around previously would have been vaporising setups.

    I can still remember the smell of the methylated spirits used to get it going. Then pumping it so hard that you'd have white spots in your vision for half an hour afterwards.
