'What the farmer doesn't know, the farmer doesn't eat' as we say. I am well aware of that and most poeple just want to eat what they are used to. But usually when I spend some more time in a foreign country, I get used to the local food and often start to prefer it but most certainly not Irish food.

Yuck why is it always so disgusting? It's always either way too salty or sometimes some things are the complete opposite and have all flavour boiled out of them. Yuck.

Today there was a christmas dinner served at work. I usually don't even bother eating any of the food there because it's always mank but okay because its almost christmas I was just giving it a shot.

Ugh what a deception. Ok one thing was good and those were the potatoes. I mean that's basically the only food yous had here for centuries so at least the potatoes are good. And I ate some of the salmon but the rest I had to throw straight in the bin. What an absolute disgrace.

Some kind of brown gloopy sauce that tasted like cardboard somehow covering some stodgy flour mess that was so vile I literally had to get up from my chair and run to the bin to spit it out. It was embarassing.
