Can I ask here what installers offer Huawei?

Hi all, I've tried to search for what installers offer Huawei gear, and reached out to several installers (17 different ones, with just around 1/2 of them coming back to me), and only 2 installers came back with offering Huawei (I've only decided on Huawei after I asked for quotes from the earlier quotes).

I know we can't ask for quotes that people got from different installers, but can I ask what installers offer Huawei hardware so I can reach out to them?

Does the "€1k per 1kWp panels" & "€1k per 2.5kWhr battery" relate to Huawei hardware too, or is it only for the the non-Huawei hardware? These quotes, don't follow that :)

PV generation are the only ones I found selling Huawei gear. Mind if I ask why you want that particular brand so much? When I looked they didn't seem particularly impressive

I guess we liked them because of their claimed reliability and all the components the same brand. Backed by a massive corporation too with so much R&D.

Yeah I didn't really get the impression they're any better than the competition. There's nothing wrong with them either though so should be fine

The thing that put me of is that they can't operate in an off grid mode without some special add-on box which costs several thousand. So in a power cut you lose your panels and battery as well which is a bit pointless

Like raisin, I'd be of the same opinion with respect to Huawei. Inverters and batteries generally do exactly what they say in the tin. Paying a premium would want to have some benefit, and I don't really seen any. All the boxes have warranties and the reliability is pretty much to a muchness. Again, that's not to say that Huawei are bad or anything (solid enough brand IMHO), only that I'd rather spend your hard earned wonga on something that means a "better install" like more panels on the roof, or a bigger battery.

Sure they're already listening to you through your phone. What's checking on your power consumption going to tell them?
