RIP Paul Stewart

This is very sad news. Paul was a Dublin native who made Cork his home. He will be remembered as a gentleman, and a beloved character of our city. He was always seen around the Merchants Quay area selling the Evening Echo and collecting shopping trolleys. May he rest in peace.

RIP. Didnt know his name up to now or anything about his background but he was a familiar sight in Cork for decades.

He was a true gentleman, kind and gentle. Our world was a happier place with him in it. Cork has lost one of its finest honorary Cork men.

Do you have any links to any newspaper articles etc, do you have any sort of proof at all? Do you have anything more concrete than hearsay and conjecture?
