Hi! Looking to build a new PC, but I’ve been out of the PC building loop the last couple of years during the pandemic when GPU prices were at shocking levels, I just stopped looking cos it made me sad. I’m a bit unsure where to look as well, the last PC I built in 2018 (and upgraded in early 2020) I bought everything on Amazon UK but since Brexit kicked in full force I don’t shop on Amazon anymore. If I can avoid paying out the nose in import duties I am fine with using them of course.

    1. What is your budget? €1000-1500~ less I can spend the better obviously. That’s just my upper limit, don’t look at it as a target. Ideally sub €1k but I’m being realistic.

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming & streaming. I can’t really say what games, I’ll play almost anything that looks decent.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes/No] no.

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?

Except for a 2.5” SSD, no. I do have an old ryzen 5 2600, but it’s a bit out of date at this stage so I’ll just sell it I think to put towards the PC.

    5. Do you need a monitor?

yes, but I’ll sort that myself.

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking?

    oh hell ya

    8. How can you pay?

    any and all

    9. When are you purchasing?

not sure because I don’t even know what I’m looking for exactly tbh

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based?

    ill be ok there!
