    Bingham too hasty again

Hmm nasty isn’t a word I’d use at the minute.

Some frame to win. Or to lose.

    I'm exhausted after that!

    Finally 😅

Jaysus Trump finished nicely on the pink after potting that blue. Not sure he was playing for that kind of position.

And that's the end of that chapter. Probably the end of the match.

I'd say Bingham is a bit nervy

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,410 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Hard to see Stuart coming back from that….

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,350 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

It had the feel of a make it break frame about it.

And the red-splitting gods were kind to Trump this time.

I can't see this frame lasting 45 mins!

Fair play to Stephen Hendry for calling out the standard of play. There's been some atrocious matches.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,358 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

    Slop!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭Jarhead_Tendler

This is embarrassing from both of them

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,350 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

    I wouldn't call it embarrassing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,358 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

That should be the end. How appropriate that Judd butchered it. This match is a farce. This is the semi final of a major tournament, I could play better on some of these shots.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭Jarhead_Tendler

Pot success must be very low. I know they are under pressure etc. I don't recall seeing this many misses in 6 frames of a top level match in a long time

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,358 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

I would. Dennis trying to defend the indefensible, Hendry remaining silent. He knows.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,091 ✭✭✭db

This is so bad I wouldn't be surprised if it's fixed. I've never seen so many bad shots in one match.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,358 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

The desperation from Taylor to call that a half chance. It was relatively easy. Trump sinks it, then falls apart. You can't defend this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,350 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

I'm surprised Bingham didn't put Judd back in after the first snooker.

Although this one is proving more effective than I'd thought!

Bingham messed up at crunch points

It was like he didn't want to win

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,194 ✭✭✭Jarhead_Tendler

Let us hope tomorrow is better. Trumps name could be on it after getting over Day in game 1

Not a great match to watch to be honest. Neither player was at their best at all

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,358 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Rob Walker talking pony. He has to try in fairness to him. Diarrhea!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,118 ✭✭✭Sandor Clegane

Bingham is either hot or cold, there doesn't seem to be much in between.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,464 ✭✭✭Arthur Daley

Mark Williams at almost 48 is the oldest finalist in a triple crown tournament in 40 years.

Ray Reardon lost the Masters final in 1983 at the age of 50. Ray had narrowly lost the World final to Alex the year before, and his game fell away eventually after he reached a final World semi final in 1985 aged 52.

Should be an exciting match anyway! Hopefully both players at the higher end of their ability.

It would be great to see Williams win but it’s a tough one to call

Williams surely has the edge going into this

Trump involved in tortuous match last night

  • Posts: 0 Lia Strong Key

Definitely looks good for Williams especially comparing their semi final matches.

williams 6:0 on a cleanup mission vs trump with 6:1 very sloppy match

Williams snooker this week has been incredible also to be fair.
