I also used to get confused about loads of old Hollywood actors, like Lee Marvin and Jason Robards. There’s loads of these pairs, just it’s been a while so I can’t remember.

And don’t get me started on all the Baldwin brothers, or the Bee Gees, or the Carradines. Some are interchangeable for sure.

I think it was an Underworld film and I was about half an hour in before I realised it wasn't Kate Beckinsale. Had to google and it was Rhona Mitra.

Other actors that I did a double take on were Tom Hardy and Logan Marshall Green and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Javier Bardem.

For some reason that I've forgotten in the mists of time, I used to get Gemma O Doherty mixed up with Cathy Kelly, author and former journalist. This would have been long before the former went full mentalist. Its not even that they look alike or anything.

Edit: it was niggling at me all morning so after some deep digging I know now why I had them confused. I had Cathy Kelly mixed up with former Sunday Independent crime correspondent turned author Liz Allen, who does kind of look like her. She took a case against the Sindo in the early 00s over bullying. Gemmas firing from the Indo led me to further get her confused with Liz Allen and subsequently Cathy Kelly.

Maybe a year or so after Pulp Fiction came out I saw a movie called Butterfly Kiss, a sort of lesbian serial killer take on Thelma & Louise. Anyway I mistakingly thought one of the leads, Amanda Plummer was also in Pulp Fiction. In the movie she had a similar haircut to Patricia Arquette in PF, and they both had multiple piercings which at that time wouldn't have been as mainstream as today. Only found out the other day when someone posted something about BK that Patricia Arquette wasn't in it.
