Just not good enough. Unlucky equaliser perhaps, but we should have been down at least one player in that 2nd half in any case, so sh1t happens.

Not many positives from that. As bad as the starting 11 appeared on paper, they did OK for the first half and picked up slightly for the second half. When Klopp tinkered, it went sideways fast. Jones was anonymous and Darwin was poor (by his abilities). Henderson and Fabinho were utterly dreadful though. Both are done in our midfield I think.

Two things that stood out towards the end.

Immeasurably worse and out of sync once Fabinho and Henderson were on the pitch, particularly instead of Thiago. It became a completely useless in there.

And secondly, our set piece work is in the toilet. Brighton made a mockery of our back post defending on the winner, and then one of our final launches into the box to the back post to a double marked Salah. No plan, no coordination and no cop-on.

Do a Pep. Play the ones that care and largely ignore the ones who aren't doing it anymore.

Season just keeps getting worse. Subs had a negative impact on the game. We were a disgrace last 15 mins. If ref was doing his job we should have finished with 8 players. Hard to see how we finish the season challenging for Europe and top 4. There is just too many problems to solve and very little to get encouraged by.

Elliott been involved in every game this season he's no where near good enough to have that kind of involvement

Bajectic had a good game against Wolves second string but He's not good enough to be starting every week ,

If we a re left relying on these lads for the rest of the season we are in big trouble it's to much to young for them ,

Ask yourself would they see the same game time at City,Spurs ,Arsenal, United ,Chelsea the answer is No chance

Just again proves what we all know. We look ok when our midfield is ok. A good midfield and everything probably looks much better. Fabinho and Henderson need time away from first team and discover whether it's form or age related.

A deserved loss.

We were somewhat more compact with Robbo and Trent not bombing up and down so much.

That lead to far less chances for the likes of Gakpo.

Salah should have scored and was non existent again in the second half.

Fabinho should have been sent off.

Didn't want to win it anyway........

Gomez is just being Gomez. You can point to him letting the ball bounce and then missing the followup as directly leading to Robbo giving the FK away beforehand.

He's not good enough (for where we think we should be........so hes probably good enough for this sh1te) and benefitted from having prime VVD beside him a few seasons back.
