Looks like Elvis, he should tap into that, Elvis is big this year,

The fact she can actually sing helps to be fair. It’s a bland enough song but stands out compared to what came before it.

Thought the PiL song was very poor. Not a fan of Johnny trying to sing.

If it was an auld fella from Sligo singing that PIL song the exact same way it would be considered one of the biggest jokes in eurovision history. Take the Johnny Rotten tinted glasses off

    Think we have a winner

Good voice but the song is so forgettable

Wild Youth are a decent pop act and much more polished than the rest.I think they're better with this fella on lead vocals rather than the blonde lad (his dodgy falsetto sounds much better as backing)

This is far and away the best Eurovision song of the night.

Didn't do a thing for me. Have to say - the standard is so so bad.

Maybe we should take a break for a year and save some cash?!

His voice has gone too! His latest single is woeful.

The studio audience seems to be on stimulants

Im expecting Joe Duffy to pop in and say that they are all Brilliant

The standard of these songs are so awfully bland

    Too late!

Plus its cheap this year. We can send them on de ferry.

Thats what the shots of dollymount were hinting at

"To follow knowledge like a sinking star..." (Tennyson's Ulysses)

This is so so baaaaad. Good grief. And how come the panel are not allowed criticize?

My vote goes to staying at home and not sending any of these

They're a lot more polished than some of the others but the song is very bland, reminds me of Nicky Byrne's song from a few years back that didn't come close to qualifying

Thats probably the winner but who cares it’s bombing in Liverpool

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

They will win. Real uplifting blaaaand pop nonsense. Reminds me of Mickey Joe Harte We've got the world tonight, might get out of the semis and get between 6 to 8 points in the final (largely thanks to UK, cheers bud)

    Liking this.

Having just seen Jedward judge the front man of the iconic group in punk history, I'm going to use my IT skills to fool the Russian military into thinking America has launched a preemptive nuclear strike on Moscow and I shall be standing outside with my mouth open and my arms wide awaiting the retaliation, for we surely all deserve to die tonight.

If I had to choose it would probably be these lads because f*ck it why not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,657 ✭✭✭Doctor Jimbob

Baffling they didn’t make it this far at least. Half of these are bland and the other half can’t sing. At least Cruachan would have brought something different.

    No. 6 - I don't like rap music. This one, it's OK-ish but it's giving me a headache.

Was that the legendary wit you mentioned earlier or just half of it?

This is a good performance but I just don't know about the song
