Wedding Afters Recommendation

Was hoping to get some recommendations for a potential wedding afters venue. It would be in a pub on a Saturday night next summer, for about 50 people, ideally in Cork City so people can easily get the bus/train.

Would anyone have organized anything similar or anyone have an idea for a good venue to look into?

Not entirely sure what places would rent areas on a Saturday night, ideally with good finger food and a bit of music would be great.

you’re thinking casual rather than hotel, right? Wedding Afters can be tricky with a mix of ages.

Fionnbarras , they have pizza there and there’s a big space.

Oyster Tavern have a surprisingly big space upstairs for events.

As it’s summer, Would you consider Kinsale, Hamlets?

The Cricket Club on The Mardyke ticks a lot of boxes for such things,I was at a wedding there and thought it was a great venue.

We had ours in the White Horse in Ballincollig, BBQ, band, private bar, nice beer garden it was fantastic. I probably had 100 there and it was packed so 50 would be good too.

It was, plenty of my relatives said it was the most comfortable wedding they were ever at. Mingle around, no heavy stodgy food, cheaper for them.

Overpriced, very average food and overbearing service.

Thanks - hadn't got around to booking yet, but was actually leaning towards here, with the option of outdoors if it's sunny. Might need to look into it a bit more.
