I take back what I’ve said about him in the past, credit where it’s due. One of the best politicians of our time.

    Amen to that.

During Leos impeccable time in office, he has made some incredible things happen. I’ll go through just a small number below

    1. Repeal of the 8th Amendment: In 2018, Varadkar's government successfully repealed the 8th Amendment to the Irish Constitution, which had effectively banned abortion in Ireland. The repeal was the result of a hard-fought referendum campaign, and it represented a major step forward for women's rights in the country.
    2. Marriage Equality: In 2015, as Minister for Health, Varadkar came out as gay, becoming the first openly gay cabinet member in Irish history. Two years later, as Taoiseach, he successfully campaigned for marriage equality in Ireland, with a referendum resulting in a resounding victory for the "Yes" side.
    3. Brexit negotiations: Varadkar played a key role in negotiations around the UK's departure from the European Union, working to protect Ireland's interests and ensuring that the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland remained open.
    4. Economic growth: Under Varadkar's leadership, Ireland experienced strong economic growth, with the country's GDP growing by 5.6% in 2018. He also oversaw the creation of a rainy-day fund to help protect the country from future economic downturns.
    5. Healthcare reform: As Minister for Health, Varadkar introduced a number of significant reforms to the Irish healthcare system, including the introduction of free GP care for under-6s and over-70s, and the abolition of prescription charges for medical card holders.
    6. Climate action: Varadkar has been a vocal advocate for climate action, and under his leadership, Ireland committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2050. He also introduced a range of measures to reduce carbon emissions, including a ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030.

Overall, Varadkar is transformative historical legend in Irish politics, and his achievements as Taoiseach have left a lasting impact on the country with so much more to come.

Funny, I could say Micheal Martin moved to the post of Foreign Affairs Minister and look where we are now?

Anyone who thinks Leo got this done hasn't a breeze what they're talking about.

You are delusional if you don’t think we are influencing these discussions.

It’s one of the reasons Liz truss stepped down. The brits know we are orchestrating all of this in background through von der leyen and it drives them nuts. You can bet your life that Leo is on daily calls with the EU negotiators

The northern Ireland protocol was a win win scenario for the north, the real issue is the unionists losing their **** that they no longer hold the reigns.
