Gas boiler replacement

Hi all I have a 20y/o gas boiler that’s getting tempermental!

just wondering what’s a ball park to get it replaced? And is there any grants available?

i have a 3 bed semi detached house 5 rads downstairs and 5 upstairs and a hot water cylinder in the hotpress.

on a side note will the efficiency of a new boiler be noticeable in the gas consumption?

what makes/models are decent or best avoided?

Where do I begin? My gas boiler is on its last legs and needs replacement. Where do I start? I have a soft spot for German engineering.

You call the RGI registered plumber near you and ask them.

What’s the crack with that list? I mean can you be rgi registered and not on it? Local fella near me isn’t on it and he’s full time at gas boilers.

Yeah, there's one lad I know who is registered and I can't find him.
