Frameset has a mark on one seatstay which may or may not be a crack. I can’t say for sure whether it has penetrated deeper than the paintwork. Please see photos.

    Recommended for indoor use only.

Full carbon fork in perfect condition. Bottom bracket threads are perfect also.

    Size Small (52cm top tube)

    The following parts are included:

    ·        Frame and fork

    ·        Bars and stem

    ·        Headset and bottom bracket

    ·        Seatpost and seatpost clamp

    ·        Rear mech hanger

    Price: €70.

Add Fulcum Racing Sport wheels for €50. Add Shimano Claris groupset for €100.

Delivery by courier available at a cost of €10. Collection in person can also be arranged.

Take off the paint and look at the carbon. I suspect he's more interested in selling it rather than diagnosing it though. 😁 Which is fair enough

Exactly. I’m not going to use it on the road and already have a bike I can use indoors.

I would have absolutely no qualms about using that frame on the road. 1. It looks purely aesthetic damage and 2. I've had a chainstay break (on an aluminium frame) and only realised because the wheel started rubbing.

Can I just ask where you’re based at home /work etc and if collection is an option?

Also can I ask what was the height of the rider the bike was set up for in the pic with seat post extension and stem height etc .Thanks

I'm based in Mayo. Collection is an option in Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon or Galway. Dublin/Athlone/Portlaoise may also be options.

Set up for the Mrs at 5'7". Saddle height is 660mm from centre of BB to top of saddle and that's well within scope, with adjustment either way.

I've ridden one of these, in the same size also, at 5'9" with a saddle height of 710mm

It was sold to me as a fully functioning bike without any mention of damage and the seller had presumably used it as is.

Seller was not someone who dealt much with bikes and I don't believe it was sold to me in bad faith.

I bought it as an upgrade to my Mrs aluminium Trek but I wouldn't be happy putting her on it on the road so I wouldn't sell it on as a fully functioning bike (even though it could well be fine).

The way I see it, the additional kit going with the frame is worth the asking price. If someone gets an indoor frame or gets the all clear from a carbon expert to ride it on the road then happy days. I understand a repair would also be inexpensie if required.

rather salient point - this is not an aluminium frame?
