A fireproof safe at home or if you’ve a few bits to keep and depending on where you are, a safety deposit box might be better.

Register your title, save all the bother of storing deeds!

Mine are in a fireproof safe along with the passports and other important docs when they aren't in use.

If not registered definitely register as proves ownership. I was told despite having title registered that to keep deeds safe as the deeds also has certs like compliance with building regs and planning permission which land registry dont keep.

If you lose these certs it will be costly and timely when you go to sell as buyers solicitor will want them and you will have to get the property recertified.
