Can't find an appropriate thread.

Are these going to be shown on Sky News in Ireland (Saorview)?

The ads seem to be putting the emphasis on the UK.

If not I wonder what's going to be shown instead.

It's definitely on sky news in the UK anyway. The EPG here has other programming for that time. It would be a strange opt out.

They're showing the red carpet bit on News anyway now. They might cut it at 12 when the ceremony starts.

Absolute rubbish, awarding them for pretending, whilst being paid stupid amounts for pretending. Fawning over them and their stupid outfits, a pretentious night for pretenders, they can keep it!

They had hoped it was going to be a big celebration, but appears it'll be a bit of a damp squib.

Although I suppose 2 Oscars is decent, just that the hype machine was hoping for more.
