Is there a parade in Galway this year heard nothing on the radio or in the papers no reviewing stand in the Square yet if there is it's very low key news.

Macnas is back! Should be a good parade. Doing the uni route, past the cathedral over salmon weir bridge @ half 11.

We're Macnas there they were on TV at the Dublin parade

Yeah, not really. I think the Macnas teen group were there. Couple of stilt-walkers and good costumes but that was about it. All in all, a decent parade and the sun was even shining.

How did Sheils Galway get included to drive a line of their cars in the middle of - we can see cars moving slowly around the streets any day!

Quoted rustyfrog rather than Zell12 whom I meant to quote, my post was in relation to Shiels. The Filipino and Indian groups were the best part of the parade.
