RJ45 ethernet socket question

    I have a quick question Re the above.

    I have a broadband router in the hall. Is it possible that I put an RJ45 socket beside it, run the cable externally into the sitting room, put an RJ45 socket there and connect an RJ45 cable from tv to that point and from router in hall to other end of the RJ45 (hopefully explain it better in table below).
