An awful sense of bitterness off your posts, which I may have misinterpreted

What's bitter about them? You're a little sensitive to anyone saying Limerick might not win the All Ireland, that it's a slim possibility.

Underpants. Resounding victory. Social confidence? Calling my posts bitter, when I said Limerick were a great team on a par with Kilkenny of 2006-09. This is total deflection because you got irritable when I said every team is beatable. Kilkenny beating Cork today has no bearing on my thinking about the championship.

For such a realist you can't address the fact, a real fact as opposed to your social confidence that Limerick were neck and neck with Galway and Kilkenny last year. It was very different to the way they crushed Cork in the 2021 final. Kilkenny in 2009 were lucky to get past Tipp, then the bubble burst in 2010. Kilkenny weren't an old team and won All irelands after in 2011 and 2012. I'm saying I think it's possible Limerick could get caught this year. Hardly earth shattering thinking or begrudgery.

You have a lovely little theory in your head that Limerick are young, peaking now and have 3 more years of all Irelands left. It doesn't work like that. It might but you can't be sure.

Last year's lovely neat theory, held by many, was that the Munster final and championship was so superior to Leinster that Clare would beat Kilkenny by at least 10 pts. We saw what happened to that!

More than likely Limerick will win the all ireland. But it's not guaranteed, and that Social confidence is the funniest mumbo jumbo shite I've heard in years.

A lot of people in my work etc. And a few hurling counties I travelled to pre match.
